Hot Fudge Pudding Cake

 

 

Ingredients:

1-1/2 Cups Biscuit Mix or Bisquick®
1/2 Cup Granulated Sugar
2 Tablespoons Cocoa Powder
1/2 Cup Milk
1 Teaspoon Vanilla Extract
3/4 Cup Brown Sugar, Packed
1/4 Cup Cocoa Powder
1-1/2 Cups Boiling Water

Preheat oven to 350°. In an ungreased 8" square pan, combine biscuit mix, granulated sugar, 2 tablespoons cocoa powder, milk and vanilla. Blend well.
Combine brown sugar and 1/4 cup cocoa powder in a small bowl. Sprinkle over top of cake mixture. Gently pour boiling water over top of mixture. Do not stir. Bake 35 to 40 minutes, until edges separate from pan. Cool in pan 15 minutes before serving. The cake will rise to the top and the pudding will be on the bottom. This cake is really good with ice cream or whipped cream.
