Safer Crib Sheets 

A while back I saw a news story about a little boy who, while in his crib, managed to get the sheet loose. Somehow, the sheet got tangled around him and suffocated him. At the time my second child was about a year old, so I was understandably worried that the same thing could happen to her. The story also had some information about a safer style of crib sheet that goes on like a pillowcase, eliminating the chance that a child could pull the sheet loose. I decided to make a few of this style of sheet for my child. Now I'd like to share the sewing instructions with anyone else who might be expecting a child, have a child in a crib, or know anyone who does.
